I paid a short visit to this lovely city in one of the weekends, while I was working in Milan. I bought a train ticket to Rome and it took around 4 hours to reach Rome from Milan. The train was so crowded, and I don’t even get a seat.
Upon arrival at Termini Station, Rome, we took the Metro to Barberini station. From there, we walked up the hill and checked in to Hotel Ambasciatori, located at Via Vittorio Veneto 62.

After taking a short rest in the hotel, we planned to visit all the nearby tourism spots. Our first spot would be Piazza di Spagna, around 10 minutes walk from our hotel.
In front of Trinità dei Monti…
We walked down the staircase and reached at the centre of the Spanish Square. It was very crowded, as I guess that most of them were busy preparing for Xmas celebrations. From there, we walked to Fontana di Trevi. This is the most famous and arguably most beautiful fountain in all of Rome. There is a legend, if you throw a coin into the water, it will has you return back to Rome. You should toss it over your shoulder with your back to the fountain.
Before going back to the hotel, we visited Piazza Venezia, which is located at the heart of Rome. The Monument of Victor Emmanuel II is one of the famous and remarkable landmarks dominating Piazza Venezia.
Hello, Italy
It was getting late. We decided to call it as a day and went back to the hotel for rest. Yeah….We enjoyed Italian cuisine for our dinner, and it will be featured in my next post.
