Continue from Part 1…The next morning, after the breakfast, we planned to visit the Colosseum.

The building is situated in the center of the city of Rome, Italy. It is considered as one of the greatest works of Roman architecture, as this also the largest amphitheatre ever built in Roman Empire. The Colosseum is capable of seating 50000 spectators for gladiator contests and public spectacles. [Read More here]

If you are taking the Rome Metro, you can stop at the station, Colosseo. Once you walked out from the station, the state-of-art building is just right in front of you. There are a lot of stalls selling souvenirs and yet some of them even wear like a Roman soldier to take photo with the tourists. Before you are allowed to visit the building, you have to buy the entry pass, which is around 10 Euro. [Check here for the ticketing]

Posing in front of the Colosseum…

After finished visiting the Roman Colosseum, we walked up to the Palatine Hill which is just opposite to it. This is the centermost of the Seven Hills of Rome, and also the most ancient parts of the city.

Path waking up to the hill~~

From the hill, you will enjoy a very nice panaromic view of the entire Roman Forum or even the Rome City itself…It’s so amazing and fantastic, I’m loving it :-)

Due to the time constraint, we quickly walked down from the hill and paid a visit to the Roman Forum. What’s so special about this !? The oldest and most important structures of the ancient city were located in the forum, including the formal Royal Residency, law courts and marketplace. This is truly the center hub for political, social and economical activities… wow !!!

But now it has become the World Heritage…

We grabbed a quick lunch and we have to leave this lovely city…ciao Rome
