Euro Coins

Euro is the official currency for Eurozone, including Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Portugal, Slovenia, and Spain. Hence, there are many different Euro coins circulating in the market, ranging from one cent to two Euros. It is not easy for someone to tell which country this coin comes from. Why?

All Euro coins have a common side, showing the value of this coin. However, the obverse side or often know as National sides, varies from country to country, with each member allowed to choose their own design. Hence, 12 members and 3 minor states with 8 different values, it makes up 120 different coins. Luckily, certain country like Belgium, they use the same design for each denomination. Even though there are many designs of Euro coins, all these Euro coins are still valid everywhere within the Eurozone.

Check out the design for each Euro coin value here. Perhaps, it can be a very interesting if you can collect them all :)
