EPL Champion 2009/2010 – Chelsea

Finally, EPL 2009/2010 has come to an end last Sunday, and Chelsea won the title with 86 points, just one point ahead of the defending champion, Manchester Utd. The winner remains unknown until the last round of EPL… Manchester Utd tried their best to beat Stoke City with 4-0, but Chelsea actually thrashed their opponent Wigan with 8 goals clear, and grabbed the title.

Also, Drogba from Chelsea appears as the top scorer in EPL 2009/2010 with a total of 29 goals. Rooney, the most promising striker in Manchester Utd comes to second by scoring 26 goals, follows by Bent from Sunderland, 24 goals. Despite haunted by a series of injuries, Torres still managed to score 18 goals in EPL.

Congratulations to Hotspur, as they managed to beat the likes of Manchester City, Aston Villa and Liverpool to win the 4th spot and also the entry to Champions League next season. My favorite club, Liverpool did a bad job this season, ended at the 7th spot, without winning anything. Hopefully, they can make a strong comeback next season… Yeah, send away Lucas and Benitez, both of them are not helping the team at all…

Liverpool FC New Home Kit – 2010/2012

Liverpool Football Club can today unveil its stylish new home kit for seasons 2010-12. Pre-order the new kit now at http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/shop/kit

The brand new Liverpool FC Home Kit takes inspiration from the kit worn during the triumphant 1989/90 title winning season, when greats such as Barnes, Beardsley and Rush graced the Anfield turf. Whilst being respectful to the traditions of Liverpool FC the new Home Kit represents a modern interpretation of one of the most iconic kits in the Club’s history. In terms of design aesthetic we are pleased to unveil a traditional all red kit with key features including a jacquard fabric, laser cut woven crest execution and rich metallic gold piping detail which all help to create a jersey steeped in history and tradition with a stylish modern twist.

Hmmm…time to say Goodbye after 17 years of sponsorship from Carlsberg…Next season, Liverpool will be playing with Standard Chartered printed in front. As a Liverpool fan, I will definitely miss the Carlsberg-Bond :ermm:
