If you are taking the Rome Metro, you can stop at the station, Colosseo. Once you walked out from the station, the state-of-art building is just right in front of you. There are a lot of stalls selling souvenirs and yet some of them even wear like a Roman soldier to take photo with the tourists. Before you are allowed to visit the building, you have to buy the entry pass, which is around 10 Euro. [Check here for the ticketing]
